Sliding Door Operating

Uses

Sliding door operators are commonly used on the exterior of large retail businesses. (Small retail businesses prefer swing door operators.) They are also used in elevators.

Triggering

Door operators can be triggered in several ways:
·         Approach sensor (such as radar sensor) - The door opens when the user approaches him.
·         Pushbutton - The door opens when a button is pressed.
·         Control control - The door opens when the access control system is authorized to go by the user.
·         Automatically (in case of lift).
·         Trigger any of the above requests that the door is open (or reopen if it closes).

Safety Sensors

Sensors can be used to detect obstacles in the way of closing doors. The simplest sensor has a light beam toward the opening: when the beam is broken by a barrier, the operator prevents the door from closing. Infrared and radar safety sensors are also commonly used.
Other sensors, such as resistance-sensing motors, can be used to reverse the door closing action when obstructed.

Technology

The operator is positioned above the sliding door.
The electric motor built below drives a pulley at one end of the belt to achieve low speed and high torque. The door is clamped to the belt. To open the door, the motor rotates the pulley, from which the belt rotates and pulls on the door. To close the door, the opposite happens.
Historically, the elevator doors were opened by a set of mechanical links; Rotate the folded, folded arm under the motor, leading to the door.

Types

There are several types of sliding doors, as follows:
·         Standard sliding door (single wing or double wing)
·         Les telescopic sliding door (two wings or four wings)
·         Circular sliding door (section circular, semi-circular or full circular)
·         Moving Folding Doors (two wings or four wings)
·         Hermetic sliding door (single wing or double wing)
·         All glass sliding doors (single wing or double wing)
Room Clean room sliding door (single wing or double wing)
